Emotional Resiliency Group (Thursdays, 4:00-5:30 pm)
Group Sessions are Virtual
Leader: Sindhu Shivaji, PsyD
The Emotional Resiliency (ER) group is a skills-based group designed to help participants engage with emotional experiences without either emotional overwhelm or avoidance. It draws from the skillsets of DBT, CBT, ACT, and the mindfulness traditions and focuses on emotional skillsets to increase emotional awareness, the ability to intentionally modulate emotions, increase endurance to emotional stimuli, and communicate emotions effectively within relationships.

Comprehensive DBT Groups
We are currently offering multiple DBT groups as part of our adolescent and adult comprehensive DBT programs. Clients may join a group after they have completed the intake process and at the next available group opening (typically every 6-8 weeks).
Consistent with the empirically supported treatment model, clients who enroll in our comprehensive DBT program are required to participate in individual therapy with an intensively trained DBT therapist. Clients are also asked to commit to 24 group sessions (6-8 months), which will cover one full round of the DBT skills. All TAP individual DBT clients are eligible for our groups; some additional paperwork is required for clients who see individual therapists outside of TAP. New clients must first schedule an intake session to determine goodness of fit for the program.
DBT Adult Daytime Group (Tuesdays, 11:00 am- 1:00 pm)

DBT High School Multi-Family Group (Tuesdays, 5:00-6:30 PM)

Standalone DBT Skills Training Groups
In addition to groups offered as part of our comprehensive DBT program, we also offer one standalone DBT group for neurodivergent adolescents (i.e., those with diagnoses of ADHD and/or ASD). All teens must have an individual therapist, commit to at least one module (6-8 weeks) of attendance, and complete an intake to determine goodness of fit with the program.
